By the PS4 and PS5 era, rentals became impossible for hopping gamers like me. Strict DRM, limited titles, long installs, and shared saves killed mobility. The freedom of plug-and-play was gone. Modern consoles just aren’t worth the hopping hassle.

It is how it is.

In Indonesia’s PS2 rental era, gamers brought their own memory cards, jumped between shops, and played pirated discs freely. You didn’t need to own a console. Just "plug, play, and go". It was gaming on the move, cheap and surprisingly personal.

It’s time for the new gen of gamers to appreciate this super legend now that it’s back in full force on new gen consoles! Hopefully they prosper more than ever compared to their PS3/Vita days~

Just found out that when we update to Unity 6 (required for console porting) all of our references to every camera in the game are gonna break and have to be replaced manually.
