The reptilian leg of a Mute Swan with ring W28940 seen at Roath Park Lake, Cardiff last week. Thanks to we know that it was ringed 10km away at Cosmeston Lakes, nr Penarth, in its second year in Jan 2011, so it's nearly 10 years old. Every recovery tells a tale.
