Day 5 (PS4): Persona 5 Royal
I never saw it coming. The day that I would be a Persona fan. After P4 Golden on the PS Vita, I was hooked. Persona 5 oozes with style, jazz, and glorious costumes. Best RPG in the game & Royal adds so much more to stealing hearts. #CountdowntoPS5
Day 6 (PS4): Final Fantasy VII Remake
The FFVII Remake manages to do many things right by staying true to the original while adding plenty of gameplay updates the Final Fantasy series desperately needed. It draws new players with a few surprises for older fans. #CountdowntoPS5
Day 13 (PS3): Batman: Arkham City/Bioshock Infinite
Arkham City perfected everything from the first game, giving us a living open world to be Batman.
Bioshock Infinite is the sequel we wanted. Columbia is just as captivating as Rapture, with plenty secrets. #CountdowntoPS5
Day 17 (PS2): Resident Evil 4
Resident Evil forever changed with its fourth entry. The best in the series, Resident Evil 4 change the camera to behind the back, making the game more action packed while retaining some of its horror elements and new enemies. #CountdowntoPS5
Day 21 (PS2): Prince of Persia Sands of Time
Sands of Time trilogy is how you remake a game. Prince of Persia’s mix of the parkour & climbing pioneered gameplay in modern day adventure games like Assassin’s Creed. With it’s added time mechanic. Instant classic. #CountdowntoPS5
Day 26 (PS1): Tekken 3
The best things come in threes. The king of 3D fighters on the original PlayStation closed out the PS1 era with perhaps its best. Its fighting engine feels so much more like a three dimensional space with amazing brawling versus action. #CountdowntoPS5
Day 29: Tenchu 2/Tomb Raider
You don’t know that real stealth ish if you didn’t play Tenchu. Originator of sneak kills and ninja assassins. Meanwhile, Tomb Raider and Lara Croft remain iconic to this day. The precursor to many adventure games down the line. #CountdowntoPS5
