So, I finally got ahold of some old stuff I was working on and I came across this. "Project Spike" which if I remember right was supposed to be my beat em up version of Canon Spike/GunSpike. The art style was meant to be a later Cps1 style. I even edited some portraits to match.
M. Bison/Dictator was modeled after General Washizaki from the infamous Riki-Oh manga. In fact, Bison’s placeholder name was “Washizaki”.
Bison’s CPS1 Vs. Screen portrait was very infamously traced from one of the panels in the manga.
