it only happens when i turn off backface culling. When I do custom normals on my models, my outline mesh I use with inverted hull always ends up fucked lol. This is how it should look

Neo-Piccolo's cape doesn't show from the front if you don't have a shader on a material that disables backface culling. It'll alway show from the back.

Now the biggie... bounding spheres are used to calculate object culling. If you have a wide sphere the object gets included in the maths way more, even if it is technically hidden behind something else.

See this statue is considered waaaaay wider than it actually is.
