The great bard, Huw Machno, once sang in Gwydir's ancient halls. He wrote many #poems about Gwydir & the #Wynn family. Around 1600, the gardener here was said to have depicted him on horseback in #topiary. Over 150 of his poems still survive in #manuscript form. @NLWales#cywydd
