I've heard the news. Leiji Matsumoto sadly passed away. Without his work on Danguard Ace, Gunbuster wouldn't have existed. Without him, Kazuhiko Shimamoto wouldn't have given us immortal characters like Domon and Master Asia based on Leiji's works.

Something me and sleepy we’re discussing that I find absolutely hilarious and sad is the fact Captain Harlock, a show that isn’t mecha, got into SRW but the same creator actually did make a mecha, Danguard ace, yet it’s never showed up in SRW once afaik.

Actually the character is Danguard Ace. He was one of the robots in the Marvel Comics Shogun Warriors series. Here’s some images I drew of him. By the way, Voltron is COOL too 😊🙏🏾
