John Gurche, a paleoartist that also worked on Jurassic Park during early production (and the reason behind the Dilophosaurus's frill) refers to the raptor as Deinonychus.

This early concept art for the film, featuring Deinonychus was done by him.

I have hours of work to do still, but later I kinda want to draw my own idealized version of the Jurassic World Evolution Deinonychus.

Is that a scaly dromeosaur? Nope that’s a Noasaur, they’re called Deinovelos and are extremely common pack hunters of the HE desert and dry parts of the prairie. They are a bit larger than a Deinonychus.

This, is the beautifully preserved Tropeognathus from Brazil.

Pretty much all the Ornithocheirus you see are depictions of Tropeognathus. Just like how most "Velociraptors" you see are Deinonychus.

Hitoshi Ariga, who worked on Gen6 and Gen8 fossil Pokémon, is into Deinonychus.
They may be coming.
S is for lizard and V is for bird-like Deinonychus?💭

dromaeosaurid either velociraptor or deinonychus.
Fun fact the "velociraptors" in Jurassic park are more like deinonychus but without feathers. Real velociraptors ae no bigger than turkeys.

Because of the lack of ability to look at the holotype, informally it has been stated that the ribs and verts are also questionable, and the mis-scaled tail when re-scaled brings an animal only slightly larger than Deinonychus. Ultimately, because the lack of veracity...

Tenontosaurus was popularly depicted as prey fodder for Deinonychus. Come on, they deserve better than that, for a lone Tenontosaurus could potentially injure a lone Deinonychus. Fossils have been common, having remains found from Montana to possibly even Maryland. Wild!

A dinosaur character that I made a while back named Tyri. He was supposed to be the pet of a character that I made, but I ended up not using him. He's a deinonychus. (2015)

It's a beautiful morning in the kingdom, and Summer is a horrible deinonychus.

A little late in the day, but I’m team It’s discovery and subsequent study ignited the debate about weather dinosaurs were warm or cold blooded. It’s thought to be one of the greatest scientific discoveries of the 20th century! https://t.co/WYyfwg6nyn

Just noticed the model for Marvel's Runaways show on Hulu (I'm late, I know) of Old Lace the Deinonychus. Serious props for a cool design that incorporates a little feathering and species name that makes sense for the size! But dino art sin points for breaking her poor wrists 😩

Day 26 Early cretaceous carnivorous Feathered theropod from America. it's skeleton was actually the inspiration for Jurassic Parks Velociraptor (its Asian cousin). Maybe they though it was too hard to pronounce.
