fanservice rights war sucks af coz I'm a bl gooner girl raised on eastern MMOs, and I understand why the girl characters are always disproportionately skimpier than the guys (demographics. Like you won't expect a lot of supersexy girls OC on a gay dating sim for example)
@ViviVovoDos Tf you mean this BL's target demographic is shoujo readers

@bicker_bob @JustLetGlow @nsjersey no. i'm not going to hold your hand.
my own state has an abysmal voter turnout rate bc of lack of time off work, lack of accessibility, lack of childcare, lack of transport. specifically amoung some demographics. guess which ones?

Excited to announce that @WoodiesOfficial has been acquired by @DisneyStudios. We will immediately be pivoting to AI-generated entertainment media targeted at a new demographic: household robot assistants who wish they were human.
Say hello to our first series: Webruily
Like shonen/seinen don't do this a lot😭 not only that but also fetish with stepmoms, stepsisters, sexualizing highschoolers, look at your ass before you speak everytime, you only see a agegap shoujo and assume half of an entire demographic is like that https://t.co/oyOkSoXyrW

sadly due to prejudgememt most of these stories never get published on this side of the world, so we only stay in the surface of the demographic
however i can say that things are a little brighter now than previous years, so we should definitely keep talking about this issue
thankfully that changed and there are more spaces for these stories nowadays, however the queerness in shoujo and josei is still present and i'd dare to say some of the best stories of their genre are being published on these demographics
@TinyKiyohii @CallMeGdubG and the way that it isnt even the artstyle, i would lump CCS in with sailor moon and ye olde pokemon as being stylistically aimed (initially) at actual children and not *that other demographic of anime consumers*
Generally, my 1st check for “is it a shojo/shonen/seinen/josei manga title?” is to see what magazine it was originally published in Japan, since that’s your best indicator of its original target reader demographic. However, i understand the confusion when its published overseas
blew a friend's mind yesterday by saying that these were the same character just in different genres/demographics
