Episode 37 - "I have no regrets. If I hadn't met you, my life would've had no meaning. I'm glad that we were friends."
"That's forever."
Oh so now Digimon has me adding one to the Kenshiro counter? I see how it is. I see how this goes. #DigiGrant
Episode 26 - Poor Sona feeling she has no love in her life😢 I thought it was a interesting and smart choice to root her love in a community frame rather than romantic. Garudamon is amazing, and Myotismon orbital dropping in a gilded coffin over a crimson moon - Kino™️ #DigiGrant
Episode 18 - I get that they walked away from the last battle and to this new place to meet the trainer, but between the portal, falling down a well, forest of crosses, and "sleepy" journey across the river Styx, the implication is that Tai and Agumon straight up died. #DigiGrant
~In Loving Memory~
Greymon: 1999 - 1999 #DigiGrant
Episode 14 - A child achieves connection with the divine and banishes an evil demon by making the ultimate sacrifice, and then we follow that up with being trapped in the belly of a whale? Digimon really is implementing religious themes better than Evangelion ever did #DigiGrant
Episode 4 - Isekai as wish fulfillment doesn't really do it for me, but isekai as survival horror is a relatable hook. "Oh God we're in another world what's going on how do we eat how do we get home AAAAAAHHHH MONSTERS" feels pretty authentic from my perspective. #DigiGrant
Episode 3 - My only monster-collecting experience is with Pokemon, so it's interesting to me that Digimon has such a different hook. Pokemon is clearly about the tournament, I didn't expect Digimon to go down the "isekai survival horror in a Lisa Frankocalypse" route. #DigiGrant
Also can I say that this lil dude's dub voice is OUTRAGEOUS I'm almost positive it's illegal to make a voice this goofy #DigiGrant
