Hi :3 *cutely throws this at you*
@IllusionOfMana @CupOhhJoe @Button__Masher Studying PC88 and 98 has been a lot of fun. Personally I kinda like doing 88 style more, just because it's fun to mess with the dithers.
I'm sorry to inform you

"Game of Dithers". I think this was the first C64 bitmap I ever made that was used in a production. #FLI #pixelart #c64 https://t.co/WPVco0bT0f
This especially holds true as Congress dithers away instead of providing help to those affected by the pandemic.

Hey, y'all! I need suggestions for grumpy boss surnames. Like Mr. Dithers and Mr. Slate, but obviously not those because those are used up already. (Mr. Burns, too.)
"Yes, Mr. __________!"
"No, Mr. __________!"
"Right away, Mr. ___________!"
Thanks!
@Towa_Kitsune It's difficult to say, right off. In a case like this, I try to see what GIMP would do, based off of official art. I imported the image on the right, and ran it through a process that both coverts the image to monochrome and dithers it.
…however! I just realized that I could actually introduce *more( dithering, by manually creating new dithering pairs for "solid" color. Solids in Sci0 are actually dithers of the same-color: blue-blue… But, you don't need to respect that! I've only used it for palette swaps:
I made a post-fx Unity shader that dithers temporally into CGA for #CGAJam. Abandoning it though; it cheeses away the real fun of the jam.
