The first full ref is a hybrid species between an opossum/snake, and the next is a bird (which is evidently lesser known as) a dovekie! The possnake has a forked tongue and other unique aspects from her species!!

(and the dovekie is heckin’ adorable.)

Day 9 of The Little Auk (or Dovekie) is shaped like a friend. I would like to hold one gently cupped in my hand, it seems to be designed perfectly for it. But of course they are wild animals so I will not.

these guys nest in big flocks on arctic cliffsides, where a couple cares for a single egg... I'm completely enamored with the idea of seeing a big sea cliff just covered in flocks of these cuties 😭
