Charmeleon is awesome, I don’t know what it is about it that grabs me but something just clicked the first time I saw it and my opinion has never diminished. I’ve always seen it as a weird little theropod, like a retro-dromaeosaur. It’s almost a shame it turns into a dragon! 9/10

was a large and robustly built Mongolian dromaeosaur. Being reliably second only to Utah in size, it could be considered the prince of the true raptors. In its formation, it would have been an apex predator with few predators if any, rare in dromies.
