Ancient Locathah for #DnD, featuring Bothriolepis, Dunkleosteus, Stethocanthus, and Coelocanth!
I don’t often make totally self-indulgent oc’s, but well, with the recent new theory about #dunkleosteus, I decided to give in and make a character based off one.
They’re still bare bones at the moment, personality to be developed.
Results from the #paleostream!
Thoosuchus, Dunkleosteus, Megatherium (for @ChurroChango) and Bennettazhia (with lots of guano)
@bewarefalsegods DINOSUARS U SAY??!LM12LJBKVJYKUQCJ-
God I fucking love dinosuars- or anything prehistoric tbh. My fav fossils of prehistoric species are prob either Dunkleosteus, Dimetrodon, or Dilophosaurus- (big fish, big not-dinosuar, and smallish dinosuar lmao) ,,,omfg i just noticed all Ds
@Yoriden150 They're all based on Dunkleosteus, just like this fella :)
“By the great jaw of ancient lord dunkleosteus, devour my enemies and drag them to the depth of oblivion!!” Commissioned work Liyu in caveman outfit summoning an ancient piscine ally.
Quick contribution for today's #weretober theme! My reference for this one was the Dunkleosteus, a famous prehistoric fish
Day 10 - Ancient fish!
Dunkleosteus, one of the many cool fish of the late Devonian. I love the very idea of armored fish, it's just so damned COOL.
There was an enemy in the "Stylish Build" for RE4 (aka the one that became Devil May Cry), that's actually just a straight up prehistoric fish. This enemy is basically a 1:1 of the Dunkleosteus, a unique ancient fish that's teeth connected directly to its skull.
#REBHFun
Primal season 2 clip. Fang and Spear are at sea trying to find Mira. We’ve got Dunkleosteus, Tropeognathus (with pycnofibers!) , Megalodon.
Card 0019 - Dunk 🦈
Again reconnecting with a fursona not drawn in a long time! Dunk is a toothy alien dog from the game ‘The Outer Worlds,’ whose face is a lot like a dunkleosteus, hence: Dunk.
@pawstanoodle if you're looking for unique species, I got you covered ! Dunkleosteus, terror bird and thylacoleo ôvô
Dinosaur Facts #4(?)
This is a dunkleosteus, a prehistoric fish who’s head and jaws were made up of tough bone. They were completely carnivorous. Some believe they were cannibals, but if they weren’t, we know they at least knew how to easily kill their own species. Fun
Just wanted to show these cuties I designed for a world I am building based on a dunkleosteus, a dilophosaurus, a velociraptor and a desmatosuchus :D
The dunkleosteus-like is an amphibian but the others are mammal-like reptiles like synapsids
The work of Yoneda Hitoshi. I love that the artist used the head of a real creature, the Dunkleosteus, a massive, armored fish from the Devonian.

I'll never forgive Pokemon for WASTING the fossil slots in Gen 8 with these abominations. We could have had a Dunkleosteus, a Raptor, a Stegosaur and some kind of Pliosaur maybe? But no, they had to do this gimmick which I get it, but it feels like I was cheated.
@finnaboo Mudslide the little Carp boy, Mercury the Dunkleosteus, and Pepper the Rainbow Trout!
Some more pins for the upcoming KS! Deinonychus, Dunkleosteus, Plesiosaurus, and Therizinosaurus! People like these as charms, I hope they're liked as pins too ;o;
