The only time Antoine’s trauma is acknowledged is here, even then the next page is another issue imo

Shadow has forgotten his family, he became a prisoner of Rouge the Bat (not Dr. Eggman) to fight against Sonic and his friends (and Knuckles) so she can get what she wants for no reason.
