25 years ago today, Ehrgeiz: God Bless the Ring was originally released at arcades at JP. It was developed by DreamFactory and published by Namco.
Cloud Strife and Tifa Lockhart - Ehrgeiz God Bless The Ring
Actually my favorite art of Cloud 😌
Last drawing of the year. Been a rough one ngl. But it only means next year is gonna be good as fuck! Clair from Ehrgeiz. Yeah, it's that obscure fighting game by Square Enix. :v
and now i quietly(ish) shriek over this lovely portrait of Reilena done in an Ehrgeiz-influenced style by @ViciousSHADi ❤️ thank you so much!!!

it still tickles me that harada had to say ken mishima from ehrgeiz isn't related to the tekken mishimas at all, even though he looks like this and does a lot of the same moves
Day nine has arrived and I've dressed up as Jo from the ill-fated Square fighter Ehrgeiz! Kudos if you remember this game xD I always stanned her for her look and wolf form~
Careful, I bite uwu 💙

@thecatnaz Yes! In fact, that's why I was asking! He is also a hidden character in Ehrgeiz, the squaresoft fighting game on ps1. ♥♥

So, I tried my best to upscale that illustration from Ehrgeiz - Square Soft (pretty sure it's Tetsuya Nomura, but I still have some doubts... Hard to relies on 199x internet sources...). It was the intro illustration for the dungeon crawler bonus game. I used multiple filters.
It's time to bring back Ehrgeiz

I just realized that these playable characters in Ehrgeiz are:
Top grid:
Hero, Heroine and Villain of the main game
Lower grid:
Has their own game/DLC
Tetsuya Nomura's 1998 art of Cloud Strife for Ehrgeiz: God Bless the Ring.
@cosmosmith Oh man EHRGEIZ! I wanted to like that game so bad! Wasn't much fun to play, but it had some RAD 2D made for it art!
