I always loved my grandpa’s stories and that inspired this piece. TBH it was hard to envision him as an old man - I tired to retain his essence.😅

Eijun Day 2 prompt Blossom: Sunflower/Lily
My grandpa grew sunflowers and when I was a kid I tried to pick on that was as tall as I am. Let me tell ya - they are freaking tough flowers! Tough and beautiful - perfect for Eijun.
