One thing I genuinely appreciate about Yamamuro's modern Goku designs is that he actually looks older than in the Buu Arc. Goku doesn't look exactly the same in his adult years, he ages slightly but noticeably. His RoF design is a great bridge between Buu and EoZ, even in the gi.

The Super Manga is a modern story BASED on Toriyama's Original Manga. It's not a Sequel but a Side-Story with MANY changes no longer consistent to the OG Manga (e.g. No 10 Years of Peace pre "EoZ").
It's just another Continuity, currently active. Like GT was active in the 90s.

Though I do agree that Xeno Goku has the better design. But EoZ is still top tier
After some training, Gotenks and Gohan fail to kill Buu, and only Vegitto save boys. But after Goku and Vegeta save Dende and Satan, while others die. In short final battle, Kid Buu vs Goku, Vegeta and Satan, Goku kill Buu with Spirit Bomb. And EOZ as great ending.

What bothers me more about Bulma is we see others in the cast approaching their "EoZ" look. She is literally the only one who isn't.
