Anne Signol the Author has created a children’s book about evacuees who escape the Christmas blitz of 1940. Their teacher brings them to Wales Llandybie, where they experience life on a Welsh farm, school and village life.

Anne the Author has authorised me to supply our chosen charity organisations and schools with some of the first editions which is limited to 500.

@_Embo Since April last year both myself and my best friend are both agreeing that we get a restless few hours until 3.30am now 2.30am. We’ve had fun creating new book together. Been creating a story about blitz and evacuees. Says lockdown is similar to 1940s.
It was so dark when at last Lenny arrived that he could not see the place.
The evacuees were to sleep in a big attic room with dark beams overhead.
Lenny felt numb. The only thing that seemed real was the brass badge Dad had given him. He went to sleep clutching it.
This is perfection @WelshDragonParr and has joined my list of all-time favourites. There's a powerful simplicity to the words that deliver the richest of stories about evacuees in Wales. This is going to be a smash hit and deservedly so. Out in January 2021.
