冬のお花「Fatsia」(ヤツデ)

ヤツデは葉っぱに目が行きがちですが、雪輪のような可愛らしいお花がポンポン咲きます。
天狗が持っている団扇もヤツデですね。

背景をシルバーで塗っているので光の加減でキラキラします。

今日は絵のアイデアが浮かばず、
昨日12/13に描いていた の続きをしました。

魔除けや千客万来の願いに応える、頼もしい守護者のイメージで描けてたら良いな。

色はこれから全部塗り直し。

I rescued Keanu Leaves from the bin at work six months ago and he’s gone from a sad few twigs to a big strong plant! I’ve not been able to ID him but randomly a photo of a Fatsia Japonica came on my feed and??? That’s my boy!! ✨

I think what I like about this painting the most is the architecture of the Ivy Plant. It's balanced so beautifully. The pan is slightly William Scott. Plants in pans, old trays and paint buckets are just what you would find in an art school or a Fatsia Japonica.
