#FavouritePaintings "Evil is Banal" by Marlene Dumas - 1984 - part of @vanabbemuseum collection, Eindhoven. Dumas' titles refer to topics not obvious in #painting like this self-portrait that hints at Hannah Arendt's text on a nazi holocaust trial. #Dumas is master of ambiguity
#FavouritePaintings "Nude Series VII" by Georgia O'Keeffe 1917 @okeeffemuseum USA. Watercolours established O'Keeffe as an artist. Spontaneous brushwork on the self-posed nude is so strong with warm tones surrounded by blue haze. She was awarded 1st solo show the same year.
