'Fireworks and floodwater', on my website for £1,500, but I'm offering for £750 until Bonfire Night. https://t.co/87A0sdT3jC While painting this, I was interrupted not by a person from Porlock but by a couple of guys in a stolen car burgling my neighbours' house.
These beautifully-rounded quartzite pebbles are from northern Sudan. They once formed the bed-load of an ancient Nile. Rolled in Ethiopian floodwaters then sand-blasted for millennia on a hot desert terrace by Libyan winds. They decorate my fireplace - share your rocks!
