The Indian Peafowl is a native bird to the Indian subcontinent and the Green Peafowl breeds from east Burma to Java. Peafowl are mainly ground-dwelling birds preferring forests and farmland. They can also be found in bushlands and rainforests.

Dumb fact: Wood anemone spreads slow as hell, and prefers very old forests. It's a herald of spring as it already flowers in march, and we have some old small forests around where they form a massive blanket across the forest floor. It's hella pretty.
