This collection is inspired by the decorative technique for the so-called "crackle" type of porcelain. It is s an algorithmic collection that simulates the porcelain-making process or stages of glaze firing.

After 1933 the new government fully embraced the traditional Fraktur-related fonts for official publications; initially deeming Futura and it's likes as too modernist.

As you can see, other fonts weren't banned, they just werent preferred.

These are Fraktur, a highly elaborate illuminated folk graphics practised by the Pennsylvania Dutch and Germans between 1740-1860. Often used on birth certificates, love tokens or blessings. One common motif are distelfinks, or stylised goldfinches.
