The dire piranha and Arvelith carpenter shark, two more freshwater ‘river monsters’ (neither kill people on the regular, but the episode won’t be exclusive to intentional man-eaters: some like these kill people opportunistically and in retaliation to being hunted, respectively)

i have also made this sketch of the guy yesterday. The name's Wawa and he's supposed to be based on a golomyanka, or a Baikal oilfish, a rare freshwater species that has some deep sea fish-like adaptations. He's a bit translucent :)
Tacticool camper Pomu enjoying some typical, normal yakiimo and freshwater fish. #PomuPaint

Today I’m 38 weeks pregnant and my baby is the size of a Channel Catfish. Only two more weeks of my #FreshwaterFishPregnancyTracker! I don’t even know what fish I’ll use for the next two at 19.7” and 20”. I really hope everyone has enjoyed following along with me! 💙
@Unpop_Science Many insane innovations to cover one monumental insanity that's dams! Habitats cannot be confined, they exist in their continuity.
Anadromous fish species must swim from salty seas over into freshwater rivers in order to spawn; that's one of the most unnatural things about dams.

The Goldshark(Multychodus Pellucidaris) are the most common and invasive species of freshwater shark in the HE, meaning many teeth, they are opportunistic bottom feeders protected with a thick layer of urine!
Vote for the Pissfish! Aka Multychodus Pellucidaris(Gold shark), a species of freshwater carpet shark the size of a basketball that covers itself in its urine and dominates the ecosystems that they maintain and live in! https://t.co/zBZxQC5vLG
ok i DID have the roughs for the whole thing. it was freshwater fish+aquatics as the topic (self assigned, it could have been fish in general but i like to impose personal limiters on stuff like this. i think its fun)
