Thinking about Pokemon art style again and how some people prefer the old style or whatever. it's always funny/cool when I see "MODERN" Sugimori artwork that essentially goes back to the Gen 3 era (FRLG/RSE) that's more clear 'anime'/'detailed.

In FRLG, when talking to the copycat girl, it is implied that Red (the player character) is speaking in order for the copycat girl to mimic him. The dialogue is below:
