จนกระทั่งเกิดการต่อสู้ของ Durin และ Dvalin เมื่อ 500 ปีก่อน
หลังจาก Durin พ่ายแพ้และตายลง ณ Dragonspine ก็ทำให้ซากต้นไม้โบราณดูดซึมพิษจากเลือดของมันเข้าไป และเกิดเป็น Frostbearing Tree ในปัจจุบัน
