Our ancestors used this model as the basis for astronomical charts. Of course, now we know that the Earth and other planets revolve around the Sun, and the model in the video is nothing more than a beautiful pattern.

btw relating to solar system models, there's the Tychonic Model in which all of the other planets orbit the Sun as the star orbits the Earth. It's kinda heliocentric and geocentric in one haha
