@IAMFREE210 The Hylemxylem itself seems to be made from flesh considering the cutscene showing its construction, as well as it being destroyed and exploding into chunks of meat when defeating Gibby.
@IAMFREE210 seems to be the case, I think its interesting to note the Hylemxylem in 2 is leaching off the Afterlife's terrestrial juices. We can infact see its roots in the Afterlife after the first fight against Gibby Redivivus. Though the Hylemxylem in 1 doesn't seem to be doing that.
Before Gibby knew it, he had been adopted into Mercer's family. Staying by his side for all of his darker deeds, Gibby learned to keep secrets, turn away his gaze from the eyes of Mercer's victims and he learned that sometimes, the love of a father isn't completely worth it. #OC
