An Aunt Minnie: upper lobe scarring/fibrosis+pacemaker/AICD=sarcoid. In addition to involving lungs/lymph nodes, ~25% of patients have cardiac involvement. Non-caseating granulomas can cause cardiomyopathy or arrhythmias because of involvement of the cardiac conduction system.

23 yo with pathologic fracture of the femur. At surgery the lesion described as aneurysmal bone cyst. Then presented with mandible mass. Lesion biopsied & called Central Giant cell granuloma of mandible. Ultimately, occult parathyroid adenoma found, and BROWN TUMORS diagnosed.
