自作アプリの使い方提案
①まず『LineShadowGen』でグレスケ画像を生成
https://t.co/xXdgs5rKdh
Decided to shade Takemi in greyscale for fun and I really enjoyed how it turned out! I had much more fun shading in greyscale, and I have a feeling that it’s because I was never satisfied with how my shading looked in color. I might have to paint with greys more often. 😄
In the mood to pick a couple colors, turn on greyscale, and doodle
As I've said in an earlier thread, Corben does not over-render his figures. The intense colour is deceptive. The light areas in his paintings are typically more subdued than one might think. Convert the new cover to greyscale, and subtle modelling of the forms becomes obvious.
From sketch to line art to greyscale, and then all the way to colour! Follow every step of the process and philosophy for creating character art while painting convincing lighting. https://t.co/y3PTtUv5sQ

time: 2h 46 min
A prize for @nirvash_art of their OC for winning my raffle (side note: initially it was gonna be greyscale, but I had already put colours in by the time I remembered, so they just get a free upgrade)
For this one, I tried that technique where you shade all in greyscale, and add colours later!
I tried to color in Kaitlin with my computer filter set to greyscale, I really like the result to be honest :3 #art
Jester girl then & Jester girl now!
Decided to go with a bit more stylization.
This is by no means her "final" design, but it's a nice glow-up.
As always, criticism & input appreciated!
(No, she's not greyscale, I just did the 2nd pic at 2am & didn't feel like colouring.)
might be going back to rendering initially in greyscale, i've been fucking around with gradient maps all day and i think i found the perfect way to duplicate how i render in color
Painting Sephiroth and Aerith in greyscale, I'll colour it later but practicing greyscale gives me a chance to focus on shapes, not just light and colour.

@CriticalRole Ai doesn’t know how to do this as it’s a skill an artist picks up through study and practice
If I pop it in greyscale, notice the lightest values are at the focus, this makes your eyes naturally drawn towards it! Ai doesn’t have any way of checking it which is why they feel off!
Something with a very limited palette to excercise once again with an 80s poster vibe- greyscale, dithering, and high black and white contrast.
Vaguely inspired by Patrick Nagel :3
