Certain Afinity worked both on Halo 4 (which H2A uses as a groundwork/engine) and Doom 2016's MP. I think this is a nod to that, since DOOM MP had armors like that. That and Guyver.

Game 2 finished (a couple weeks ago): Dawn of the Monsters from . Fantastic beat’em up with a kaiju twist. Lots of different builds to play with and tons of homages to kaiju movies. Personally loved the Guyver color scheme for Aegis Prime.

Ironically, the 1986 Transformers movie. When I was a kid I watched an anime called Guyver and was traumatized by how violent it was even despite having a cool-looking superhero. Transformers had a similarly-detailed artstyle so I avoided it despite how enticing the boxart was.
