Gytrash

"Appearing in the shape of horses, mules, cranes or dogs, the Gytrash haunt solitary ways and lead people astray, but they can also be benevolent, guiding lost travelers to the right road"

The Gytrash

A spectral creature said to haunt lonely roads, taking the form of a horse, dog, mule, or crane. These creatures lead travellers astray, but in some circumstances have been benevolent.

My faves from this round are the fallen angel Turael & the fearsome Gytrash, a spirit dog with flaming eyes!

Here is my other piece for tonight. My take on a Gytrash (the original, not my undead one 😂). It’s a black dog spirit that can lead travellers astray.

Still, much like the piece before, 10/10 would pet.

23rd September 1848: In Yorkshire folklore, a presence universally acknowledged as ominous was a phantom black dog, thought to be an augury of disaster for the witness, called a gytrash. Did Branwell see the apparition under the window of the room where he lay dying?

You don’t want to come across a Gytrash when travelling on a quiet road. See the time lapse here: https://t.co/UDkLytUw1A

The Gytrash. One of the most menacing creatures in Northern English folklore. Said to be a gigantic black dog with eyes that shone red like glowing coals, it led unwary, lost travellers astray and to their doom.

My entry for the

I drew the gytrash from english folklore as a handsome guy

they are a type of ghostly dog that wait for lonely travelers on lonely roads
and either lead them astray or show them the right way

Revamp of the logo for Sasha's gang since I gotta start pasting it on their little jackets... shortly after which doing I realized there's no 'L' in Gytrash
