I can't believe I've finally done it, I've finally made a functional IKFK rig in Blender. Heavyarms is almost animation-ready, I also need to texture the inside of all these hatches but it's great to finally see them open.
1. HG Gundam Heavyarms
After building two RGs back to back this was a breath of fresh air. Very fast and easy build. The color separation is great. It's stable. The features are good. No complaints. Get this if you find it in the wild.

DID YOU KNOW Ebikawa actually started designing gundams with wing? For the Endless Waltz OVA, he served as assistant mechanical designer to hajime katoki on the heavyarms kai, thus the mostly blue & white color scheme with an abundance of sharp angles- traits of his design work.
@BeatsByWin It’s meant to match the Heavyarms custom in color theming. I actually planned that with all of them, using that lighter colors of the EW customs as the primary color. Example: Shenlong is primarily the lighter green on altron. It’s supposed to be a visual evolutionary step. 🤓
Not many people know this, but the "Kai" in Giganter Kai, is a denotation of what "version" it is.
(An example of this is Heavyarms Kai or Sandrock Kai)
Kai in this case refers to a modification.
Originally called Giganter Brid, the "Brid" referring to Hybrid Nuclear Energy.
