And yes, many people think Helicoprion about the size of tiger shark or great white, while they can grow much larger. It's likely the largest paleozoic animal ever, along with the related Parahelicoprion. This particularly large specimen is based on 60cm wide tooth whorl fossil. https://t.co/G5icISuxet
Species list:
All of species featured here aside from Gura herself are extinct sharks (well, technically helicoprion, karpinskiprion, maghriboselache, and edestus aren't true shark)
Parahelicoprion and Helicoprion, or "buzzsaw sharks". In fact they are more related to chimaera than to sharks, though still fairly distant. Both are largest animal in the Permian and possibly entire Paleozoic era, estimated at between 9-13m long. https://t.co/ENDNWRojUX

Helicoprion are absolutely huge, they are as big as today's basking shark and T.rex. Sometimes i draw them with human to demonstrate how big are them actually https://t.co/4eZi1n34mO

It's amazing how Helicoprion was more related to Chimaeras than they are to actual Sharks!

@0nAsian only one, although i didn't finish her design.
She's a Helicoprion, i was trying to find a way to put the circular teeth in her design
To be honest, the most challenging part is designing her head. For the head shape and inner mouth, i took reference from Helicoprion. Notice she also has 'buzzsaw' in the lower jaw. The lower jaw is inspired by Carcharodontosaurid such as this Tyrannotitan.
♡ What did the helicoprion use it's teeth for? ( Wrong answers only )
♡ Helicoprion
⎯ Prehistoric dinosaur that lived 225million years ago before going extinct due to global warming at the time. Their teeth are named Whorl-teeth for their whorl pattern.
made two more paradox forms! snapping spines and thermal jaws -- past versions of krookodile (+ sandile) and sharpedo! snapping spines is based off the kaprosuchus, while thermal jaws is based off the helicoprion :]
