Day 108 - Herdwick behind a fence.

Gave myself an animal challenge today. I took this photo in the summertime a few years ago and liked the fence acting as a veil between the sheep and the viewer.

Watercolour and pen.

Did you know?

When Beatrix died on 22 December 1943, she left 14 farms and 4000 acres of land to the National Trust, along with her flocks of Herdwick sheep. This was her gift to the nation, to leave behind a countryside for all to enjoy.

I like cooking, but I rarely get the time, so I’m feeling rather chuffed with myself for making a Herdwick hogget hotpot 😊

By gum it were grand 😊
