I think saying the best writing is quite relative, as far as I know they all have their own roles that affect the story.

In addition, I personally like character Aura Michibane from CFYOW. Her feelings towards Hikone at the end story are quite interesting

This is based on a reference photo I took in Hikone, Japan on my honeymoon in 2016.
