The "Wasp" creatures in #ResidentEvil were actually created by the t-Virus infecting honeybees, not wasps.
The virus caused the bees to evolve into insects that resembled Yellow Jacket Wasps, but 10 times the size.
Did you know there are over 20,000 species of bees on the planet? Beyond the hive dwelling bumblebees, honeybees, and carpenter bees most people know there are thousands of solitary bees that live in the ground or in little cavities in wood or even grass!

Winter is a challenging time for honeybees, but unlike many insects they won't spend it hibernating.
Thanks to their colony's strength and honey stocks, they'll actually be active the whole season, clustering closely together and using their bodies to generate heat until Spring!
