通常ヘルムの穴は通気に加えて視界の役にも立つ（1枚目）が、いわゆるhounskull型の場合はバイザーに角度があるのでほとんど前は見えない（3枚目）。
しかし面白い特徴があって、片目で反対側の頬を通して覗くと、アイスリットでも見えない2時方向くらいまで見える（4枚目）。
