Fairies at Ilkley Wells. William Butterfield the bathman encountered some fairies when unlocking one morning. "all over the water and dipping into it was a lot of little creatures dressed in green from head to foot, none of them more than eighteen inches high"

After considering the current situation which the country faces with regards to the virus we both feel the safest thing to do is to suspend the current block of Young Artists workshops. Hopefully we will be back in the not too distant future

We host a group from Leeds called On Edge Drawing: Collaborative drawing, shifting places, passing drawings, sharing materials

Constantly shifting figure. Dance and drawing, creating a gap, rolling and marking, following intuition.

Divide the page up and make the figure fit. Working in ink and concentrating on positive and negative shapes. That’s our regular Thursday class.

W E Crowther, former stationmaster at died in June 1918, 17yrs after losing both legs at work when run over by a train. He missed out on recuperating at the Railwaymen’s Convalescent Home in opened in 1915. Thorpe Hall apartments since 2003.
