Apparently "Demon's Crest" came to fruition after having ideas come about from discussions about SAO and Accel World, in which Reki Kawahara wanted to build up on. He promised to deliver future volumes for both series and a continuation for The Isolator as soon as possible.

I don't like SAO but my friend recommended it with it being a character centric series with good slice of life while still being a supernatural action series.

I had an issue with Kamachi writing so maybe this is what I need.

Done with Volume 5 and fully caught up on Isolator. Just want to thank Reki for writing this beautiful story with Yumiko, Liquidizer, Minoru, Suu and Trancer. This Volume did really well with showing Liquidizers versatility and dynamic with Minoru giving her some good development

Finished volume 2 of The Isolator. I'm really loving this story now with this volume. Got some good world building, ignitor was a wonderful villain and even some character development for Minoru. As always, Yumiko was the star of the volume for me and I loved all of her moments.

Finished volume 1 of The Isolator. As expected, Yumiko (Accelerator code name hits) is my favorite character and I definitely love alot of things about this series like the switching POV, power system, moral ambiguity of characters etc. Just worried about Minoru's thought process

Now that I'm done AW I'm gonna catch up to The Isolator and I'll say it again, The Isolator is Reki's best work and if it becomes an anime it will be super popular. It's bassicaly parasyte x mha and it's super rad. Easy recommend.
