I’ve always loved apes ever since I was a kid - chimps, orangutans, gorillas, monkeys, and so on. Such fascinating creatures. Jane Goodall’s research of chimpanzees is so inspiring to me.

In her researches on the chimpanzees of Gombe, is a pioneer of behaviourism - studying animals' behaviours, relationships, and personalities. She's also been an activist for conservation and the environment since way before most people realised how important it was.

and Angie. I think this photo is when they met in 2002 at the Salt Lake City Olympics. They were on a panel for kids and sports. Angie later talked about meeting Jane on the roof top and it was cold. She was freezing but Jane was doing exercises. 🤭
