Today's piece for Pagan December, the prompt was 'sacred birds'. I wanted to draw a crane, so I decided to do a Japanese crane. I almost forgot his little hat.

I see Wu as a Japanese crane (red headed crane). Graceful, flowing and strong as well as a symbol of longevity and luck, it just made perfect sense to me.
