John Rosengrant, from Stan Winston Studio
"It was not feasible to make them out of glass because they were very heavy, very fragile, and it would have taken months to make. So we had to learn how to make them out of polyurethane and avoid bubbles."

Marshall College library where Mutt and Indy crash into is not a library at all, but the University Commons dining room, at 168 Grove Street at College Street. They took the tables and chairs out, and coated the floor to avoid damaging it with the Harley.

The scene in the disinfection room where Indy undergoes a VERY VERY thorough cleaning procedure was also filmed at Downey Studios in California, and it was interesting because...
Do you want to stop looking at the naked body of Harrison Ford??? He had his underpants on!!!!

Harrison Ford specified from the beginning that he was unwilling to accept Paramount Pictures' request that his whip be digitally generated based on the company's new security standards. He called that request "ridiculous for any actor and insulting for any audience".

"Cate Blanchett was my first choice and I didn't have a second one. If he had turned down the role, finding someone to play Spalko would have been a long and hard battle. But Cate signed up, even when she had never made a movie of that kind."

It's a fact that Sir Sean Connery was offered to get back to the stage to reincarnate Henry Jones Senior. "I'd love it but retirement is terribly funny, guys -he said-. This is an exceptional show with the best cast. I will see you all on May 22, 2008 at the cinema."

Do you know that Paramount requested that Indiana's whip be digitally generated? A new security ordinance was enacted in the filming and they requested that it be respected. The first to refuse it was Harrison Ford. He said it was a "f*ing nonsense"

Jeff Nathanson replaced Darabont to write the script, based on his meetings with Lucas and Spielberg between August 2004 and May 2005. Unfortunately, his script "Indiana Jones and the Atomic Ants" did not convince anyone, although parts of it were rescued later.
