White Peafowl
While often mistaken for albino, white peafowls are typically the result of leucism in regular Indian peafowls.

@VeaV_ Leucism is a type of Mutation! sorta similar to Albinism, except blue eyes insteadof red and it's just a partial loss of pigmentation. instead of all white!
I have an oc with the same mutation named Harlow. I adopted her from someone else, and have her as a friend of my oc Remi!
@eepoxdraws Kirh, my old Blackrock warrior. He has leucism, which is not really common.
He's a bit grumpy and terribly stubborn, but very kind and somewhat cute.
new helluva boss imp! her name is Harlow.
I know she's white, but that's because shes an imp with Leucism.
I know it's not really shown in the show, but I love the concept of imps born with rare genetic mutations like this! it's super unique ❤

To save you the trouble of zooming in
Also leucism (roughly pronounced like look + ism) is a pigmentation defect where most of the melanin is just not there
It's different from albinism since leucism does still have melanin notably in the eyes
oops
Orca on the brain. Also realized albino wasn't the correct term, he's got leucism.
Don't want to just call him Orca!Dom so...... Nikolai. :3 https://t.co/x5c39oPoUo
my next Sonic OC Facelift
Rivet the Raven, she a Raven with Leucism thus the lack of pigment, but shes a total badass!~
This is a super old design I did for fun but if anyone would be interested in buying them feel free to dm me or offer a price!
He is a raccoon boy with leucism!
just a small little trash man and I love him and I didn’t want to see him disappear into the void 🥺🦝🍌
@FuseCraftAD Sure!! 💚
(Lunch time is also orc hours, right?)
Kirh is an old blackrock warrior (former smith). Pale with grey blue eyes, due to leucism. ^w^
Grumpy but with a good heart. Soft paw and protective. But terrible and stubborn, if you become his foe.
Here’s a quick sketch of CaptainPuffy in my Wings of Fire AU! She’s a mud-sea hybrid with leucism— a condition that causes a partial loss of pigmentation.
She tends to wear more jewelry + a hat, but I just love her base design as well.

'Golden sparrow.' A house sparrow with what appears to be a form of leucism, resulting in a pale, creamy, golden colour. Referenced from a photo taken by @ChrisDPiazza. Watercolour with gouache highlights. Painted bird approximately 95 mm long; a little smaller than life size. https://t.co/30IC55ZXxx
3D learning progress:
Yesterday, I learned how shading (texture node "coding").
The objective was thus to make some skin and metal illusion.
Skin is way harder, Kirh_DK has leucism and way less wrinkles than the Wow original model... It still needs a little bit more contrast.
#Medusaceratops
dinosaur with mutation Leucism.
@belore_invictus Here are my orc boys!
1- Ji'sh 2-Kirh_DK (by @/littleamava); 3- Kirh; 4-Dran'
Ji'sh dated Dranosh Saurfang, but now he's in a serious relationship with Kirh_DK.
Kirh and Kirh_DK are alternative selves. Both have leucism.
Dran' is an amnesic former shaman who has a pet turkey.
Rangers could monitor the lone male giraffe's movements in real time. The giraffe has a rare genetic condition called leucism, which causes the loss of skin pigmentation.
Giraffes have been designated as a vulnerable species with an estimated population of 68,293 globally.
