It is amusing you are throwing insults over characters created way back in 1983, and have constantly changed throughout their entire lifecycle. After all they all wore red masks in their first color appearance, so you must have lost it when they went to multi-color masks.

My favorite part of the opening is Makima feeding Denji a snail infected with Leucochloridium. It's a parasitic worm that mind controls the snail, invades its eyestalks, where it pulsates to imitate a caterpillar so that a bird would eat it, continuing its lifecycle.
