NOAA-21, formerly JPSS-2, is an Earth-observation weather satellite. Her instruments image the Earth in the visible and infrared spectrums, and measure atmospheric temperature, pressure, moisture, and composition. She was launched along with the LOFTID reentry demonstrator.

We'll be starting of the month with the launch of JPSS-2 to SSO, and LOFTID to a sub-orbital trajectory. This will be the final Atlas V to launch from Vandenberg, as well as the final Atlas V to fly with a 4-meter fairing. Lift-off is set for November 1st, 09:25 UTC.
