LAMMAS (or LUGHNASADH) celebrates the first harvest of the year! It is a season when the first fruits are collected and preparation for a bountiful later harvest begins. There's also a lot of bread!! 🍞🦌 (design by me, art by Ang!)

Happy (late) Lughnasadh, everyone! 🌽🍎🎃

Blessings of Lammas! (aka Lughnasadh, feast of the Irish sun god Lugh). It is the first summer harvest festival (Offering of First Fruits), midway between summer solstice and autumn equinox. Traditionally celebrated August 1, or when the sun enters 15 degrees of Leo, (August 6).

🌾 Lammas chegou!

When it was actually Lughnasadh, I completely forgot to do some art for it. This is a Celtic festival / holiday celebrating the start of the harvest season. COVID kinda threw a wrench in how my family usually celebrates but I still love the start of the season!
