29 Mar & 2 April: Feast of Eustasius/Eustace (d 626/9). Follower of Irish St Columbanus, & successor as abbot of Burgundy, Gaul. Columbanus had been banished since he reproved morals of local king! Eustasius noted for his humility, continual prayer, fasting & expansion.
