Vermillosaurs are a group of HE Maniraptorans closely related to the extinct therizinosaurs of the HE.
Badger bird
Mapoo
Odder
Aardfowl
-to Velociraptor, who was coincidentally described in the same paper! He believed it was more sluggish than Velociraptor and he noted that these two maniraptorans had differently-shaped teeth, implying they also had relatively different feeding habits! (3/3)

@Raptor99B I rarely draw maniraptorans so one of these things are probably the one you mentioned but if not... oh well
Harry Potter Fan theory:
Thestrals are ornithischian dinosaurs descended from ceratopsians—the group that includes Triceratops.
They are basically what happens when ceratopsian dinosaurs evolve the way maniraptorans gave rise to birds.
Artists! Which of your pieces from 2021 make you the most proud?
Obviously they are all Maniraptorans https://t.co/cf1VBYn6JE
A couple of Oviraptorosaurs for practice! #oviraptor #maniraptorans #dinosaurs
An admission which will astonish nobody at all who is familiar with me and my work: I enjoy drawing theropods most if they're maniraptorans -- obviously including extant birds. I more or less just tolerate the other kinds. ;}
@Laelaps I might have an unhealthy bias towards the fluffiest maniraptorans.
@CTennie @MatthewPope @LeMoustier @drspacejunk @Protohedgehog @SciForProgress Sure, don't mind reposting this. Enough birds use stick tools, why not maniraptorans? Not quite the anvil that was already mentioned, but using anvils also not a bad idea given manual dexterity of certain species.
A handful of maniraptorans: Hesperornis, Mei, and Yandangornis for #sciart
